Jerry Martin joined Northland boat shop, sales in 2011 after being in the business since 1973 and semi retired since 2003. Jerry has been a lifelong boater, including being actively involved as a shareholder in the start-up boater owned Champlain Club, Mallet’s Bay, Vermont in the late 1970’s. Jerry’s business experience most recently includes print advertising salesmen for a Vermont campground guide and sales management and extensive customer service participation in the construction , printing and hospitality industries. Jerry and his wife Susan live on Lake Champlain in Grand Isle VT.

Brad Chafee joined the Northland Boat Shop service team in 1989. Brads’ two-cycyle outboard certification in OMC, mercury, and Optimax has been a major contributing factor in Northland Boat Shop attaining service excellence awards for the past five years. Brad has over 29 years experience in the marine industry and has consistently maintained a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service.

Michael Murdock joined the Northland Boat Shop service team in 1997. With over 23 years experience in the marine industry, Michaels specialty is large marine craft watercraft. he holds Mercruiser and OMC certifications and completed sterndrive EFI training. Michael is equally capable in working with Volvo and various other inboards. Michael also deals equally well with Mercury, Optimax and Verado engines.

Chris Julow joined Northland Boat Shop in 1999, and formerly was the owner/operator of an engine remanufacturing business. With over thirty years experience and extensive knowledge of engine rebuilding, Chris is a very valuable member of the service team. Chris’ specialty is inboard engines and he is certified in Mercruiser engines and stern drive.

Doug Kenyon joined Northland Boat Shop in 1994. Doug has over 21 years experience in the marine and recreational vehicle field. Doug’s expertise in rigging is unsurpassed for boats 14’ to 36’ Doug is equally adept at repairing riding mowers and personal watercraft, He holds Mercury outboard certification and is a valuable member of the service team.

Ron Tier joined the Northland Boat Shop sales team in 1991. He has over 34 years experience as a field service engineer and service manager. Ron’s love of the marine business and his desire to help people enjoy the lake has been a valuable asset for our customers. Sales and service seminars have enhanced Ron’s marine expertise and knowledge of the most current advances in the marine industry. Ron presently coordinates the service, parts and accessories dept.
